Why the fuck did I have ten (ten FUCKING PEOPLE) people tell me today "all you need to do is get laid, that will solve all your problems!"

Are you fucking kidding me??????????? Sex is going to end my depression? Sex with some stranger is going to make the sunshine and laughter come back??

Oh please!!!!!!!!!

I have lost faith in ten people today. Please someone make sense of this!

    Dearest Yogapoet,

    Those people just don't understand that you have depth (because they don't). They are just trying to help in the only way they know how. It is a blessing that you know that problems can only be solved by facing them. It's not comfortable, but it is the only way to move forward and not have to go back again.

    Anyway, I fucking love you!

    Yeah, I agree with Ms. Thang above.

    But also, much of our attitude towards life is skewed by our "love tanks" being empty. And to some people, their tanks can only be filled with touch. And sometimes that touch is sexual.

    To others, intimacy means more than touch; its quality time, words of affirmation, acts of service or gifts.

    Here's hoping your tank is filled soon so that the laughter and sunshine comes back!
